WANEMA links environmental protection with community resilience through seven connected priorities. These include safeguarding freshwater, restoring forests and wetlands, improving land-use management, controlling pollution, supporting climate-resilient development, reducing disaster risks and promoting sustainable green enterprises.

How the programme works

Karucan works with public-sector and community partners, including the Ministry of Water and Environment, Kasese District Local Government and WASH networks, to support integrated environmental and resilience efforts.
